Every girl is longing that someday she'll find that elusive Mr. Right who will knock her off her feet. When she sees him she'll know it because there's "magic". There's spark and fireworks everywhere! Hmmm... sounds fairytale and too idealistic. I think I'm just imagining one of the romance novels I've read. But admit it, we all went into this stage once or many times in our lives. I think it's one of the reasons why some women find it so hard to enter into a relationship, being too idealistic. Guilty as charged! But actually, it's not the primary reason in my case though, it might have influenced me in some ways. lol
I think women of today are mostly career-oriented, ambitious, aggressive and aimed of being on top in a corporate world. They would rather consider their career first before ever entering into a serious commitment. We can't deny that there are times that committing to someone would sometimes get in the way of furthering a woman's career. A woman is so involved in making a successful career that sometimes men would be intimidated and fall short of her standards. Now that's a dilemma. Well I think if a man gets intimidated to a woman's achievements then he is not man enough to be her Mr. Right. He should have the courage to pursue and brave their incompatibilities no matter what the odds are. After all there's no such thing as a perfect partner. Oops! Here I go again with my idealistic views.lol Sorry guys I'm just trying to rationalise why I still haven't found that Mr. Right. :)

What timing. I just posted a goddess of the week for seekers of love. Thanks for visiting my blog. You have a thoughtful, lovely blog yourself.
ReplyDeleteOne theory on why I focus on my career and tend to put it foremost, is that I know how to succeed at that. I have more control over being successful at work, than in finding Mr Right and making that a suuccessful relationship. Maybe, I'm not the only one to do it?
